Harper Sims, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a doctoral-level education. Harper has always been passionate about caring for others. After experiencing the health disparities faced by those living in rural areas, Harper had her eyes set on a career in the medical field. She completed both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice at Idaho State University. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Harper has been involved in healthcare for 10 years with experience in women’s health, family practice, and urgent care. As a small-town Idaho girl, Harper is thrilled to be working in Preston and serving the people of this great community. Harper was fortunate enough to train under Dr. Bontrager while completing her nurse practitioner schooling. Harper is passionate about providing excellent primary care and has an interest in women’s health. As a family nurse practitioner, Harper works with patients of all ages and a variety of conditions. In her spare time, you can find Harper hanging out with her family or trying to convince her husband to go on a trip she has been planning. Harper looks forward to getting to know and having the honor to treat members of this community.
